Saturday

the end of the beginning

by alissa and brielle

today marked a sad but nevertheless monumental day. alissa was "the first to go" out of the two of us. yesterday we packed and packed and packed and packed etc.

alissa was by far the largest thing i had to ship to texas...

last night after seeing and being carded for bridesmaides (super funny, go see it if you're 17+) we went home and decided to create the ultimate sleepover for our last night in 13F
we pushed our beds together! (our sincerest apologies to 12F)

after loading everything up, this is what our lovely little room looked like.
it's hard to believe this once looked like this

so we'll leave you for the summer with a letter to the greatest place on earth:

Dear 13F,
You have given us shelter, memories, laughter and most importantly a life long friendship. We will miss your dusty corners, unknown noises at 3am coming from the fridge and periodically clogged drain. Here is where a girl from texas (with no accent, much to alissa's dismay) and a girl from long island met and bonded. Your bathroom is where one of us would change and the other would be in the kitchen with virtually the same outfit on. Above all the view out your window will never be forgotten. Being able to say goodnight to the empire state building every day was truly a blessing and will be truly missed. We hope your next friends are wonderful and we're positive you'll make them feel right at home.

Missing you already.

Love,
Alissa and Brielle.

until next semester sweet blog!
